Why?

Why?

Dear diary,

Day 1 of this "fabulous" idea that I blog daily or multiple times weekly sharing the ranting ideas in my head.  Who knows this may connect with someone.

First I think I'll start out with some life updates.   Indigo Vibes Apothecary is still thriving and new opportunities are popping up where I least expect them.  As a business owner it can be hard to say no to people or events because it's all an opportunity to get your name out there.   Lately, I've been asking myself how do I get them to remember my name and think of me often?  When I'm consistent, authentic and true to the herbalist in me I find my best results.  Focusing on Not So Shabby products for the first time in a long time; even moved into a bigger booth with my MIL!  I've got some ideas laid out for leather bags, dried flower bouquets, fake plants/decor, DIY herbal kits, flower presses and a whole bunch more stuff.

In March 2025 I started massage school at Synergy Wellness Academy.  I'm so happy to have stepped away from Consumers Credit Union.  Trying to fit in that role was starting to wear on me.  Great place to work; just not for longer term for me.  Stepping back into integrative wellness (using multiple holistic practices to aid in optimal daily wellness) has put life back into me. Little things like having more energy for projects and the "oh I'll just get that later" things are getting done in that moment.  I'm also sleeping better because of being more active all day long.  A month after starting school, my computer said my screen time was down 89%!  It blows my ming how much I was sitting in front of a computer then. Now I'm 5 months into this and feeling very good about this choice. I'm excited to start figuring out the after school plan.

Being in business is wild right now.  There is so much opportunity if you are willing to try and put some ole fashioned grit in it. Pivoting quickly when something isn't working out is also a life and time saver.  Learning boundaries is a HUGE skill for any business owner! Boundaries about time, commitments, and availability is so important.

Thanks for joining me on today's blog.  Subscribe to my emails and turn on alerts so you know when the next will be.

Keep vibin'
